Our community is truly embracing what God is doing to build His kingdom through The Journey Home. Just this past month, the Point Church helped with yard clean-up and indoor spring cleaning, Memorial Baptist Church of Louisa did a paper product drive to serve the needs of the home, and the Louisa Junior Women’s Club gave special Easter baskets to TJH children. We are so grateful that the community grasps the opportunity to come together to benefit those in need.

We wanted you to be aware of two fast approaching fundraising opportunities that local churches are sponsoring to financially support TJH. Flyers for these events are attached below with more information.

Upcoming Spring Fundraising Events

· Zion UMC is hosting a Fundraising Dinner on Saturday, May 9. Tickets can be purchased on their website by April 24th. Ticket Link.

· Louisa Baptist Church is having a Yard Sale on Saturday, June 6. Please consider donating items to the yard sale or shopping that day for some real bargains.

Save the Date! TJH Annual Banquet – Saturday, August 29.

More information will be coming, but please save the date. The committee is actively planning and would love to have you involved to help make the event a success. Please consider these opportunities to help:

· Sponsor a table of six and invite friends and family to get to know TJH.

· Sponsor the banquet by donating a silent auction item.

· Become a business sponsor with a financial gift of $200 or more.
